a good knight

Well last night I had a good knight, or rather he had me. It has been way too long. Not as long as it has been since my last post but I write more on Facebook. Then that may not be true. I got mad at them and deleted my whole account. That lasted about 3 days and then I started a new one. They just had too much information or rather I was being bombarded by the stupid ads that were connected to all the cookies. At any rate, the dark knight is 31, 6'7", 250 lbs, 37 w. Athletic, Black, Hairy Body, Mix,says he is 12" but I estimate more of 9"and entertained me for 3.5 hrs. He says he will return, who knows, it would be nice, but I will not hold my breath, although I believe he will be. Of course the first thing I did was to inform my friend in New York, poor boy I brag too much. His problem is wanting a relationship, me I just want the sex. What am I doing again? bragging... sorry but I was waiting on the songs to shuffle through I tunes for my next blog item on a questionnaire that I thought about doing but I have to do the first things first, get my mind off of sex. Year's beginning and now it is Marching on to a new life, counting down the days.

Well we were off today because of another sleet storm on Sunday. I did my taxes after doing my friend's taxes over the phone from NY to TX on Sunday. Too much information and yet not of any importance. January went by and it was wonderful. I got my baby married to the man she loves and they are happy. She tried to make me lose it when we had the Daddy daughter dance she chose Butterfly Kisses. My friend from NY came down and had a hard time getting there because of that sleet and his flight turned around and stranded him in Houston. He caught a ride with a couple of ladies so he made it down a few hours late but still a day before the wedding. We made it through all the fun and he and my ex hit it off well. Now she wants to plan a vacation with just the three of us. I told them both they were too much alike and I could not handle that they would drive me crazy. Of course he and I smoked and drank like crazy as we always do when we get together. Then February came and went with only one exciting thing. I joined the 60's club on my birthday and I also had to let them know, if I was going to get paid for my local days, by March 1 so I did it on my birthday. This was my gift to me. Come to find out I only had 8 days of local days so it wasn't worth it. I have like 95 state days that I will lose if I don't take them. I am too responsible to take them. I will finish the job I set out to do, then walk away a better person! No one will get in my way! I know the way, the truth and the life! RESPECT YOURSELF ENOUGH TO WALK AWAY FROM ANYONE OR ANYTHING THAT NO LONGER SERVES YOU, GROWS YOU, OR MAKES YOU HAPPY. This was something I found and posted on my facebook today. I just read the weekly newsletter that tells us to win the kids over but not by intemidation or threats. Baby them some more. They already run the school and no one does anything. That tells me that 26 years in Dallas and 34 total years is enough and now I retire and if I choose look for a new career. I am looking forward to retirement.

Dear Family and Friends, Well 2013 is almost over. The snake will be gone and then the year of the horse. That is my year and the 5th cycle of the zodiac so it should be a great year. Last year was not so bad with the announcement of the wedding on the 16th of December, 2012. So after that was only left to make all of the plans. I told my daughter that I would give her so much for the wedding but to leave me out of the planning. That job she and her mother fought over. Even after me warning her to let Danielle plan it and only offer to assist when she asked for her help. But of course, that was not meant to be because someone had expectations of what it should be and yet one had expectations of what she wanted so here in lays the dilemma. I went down over spring break to help her get unpacked from the move into a bigger apartment. I also took down the headboard from her bed that I had redone. In July I went up to New York to visit my best friend and his family. He tolerated me for 9 days and we had a great time, I have to admit it was my favorite trip to NY. School started in August with some big changes. I spent the last year over at Eduardo Mata as the Computer Lab teacher in charge of programs such as I-Station and Reasoning Minds. We opened the brand new building for O.M. Roberts and I got placed back in the 5th grade as a Bilingual teacher of Reading and Social Studies. It was not what I was expecting. I had these same kids with a few additions back in the 3rd grade and now I have to get them shaped up for the STAAR test in the spring. It has been a rough year with only 5 of the original teachers and 5 of the original staff members. Now we have a new principal and she has 3 new assistant principals and depending on whom you ask you get a different response. It is like the blind leading the blind. They say in Spanish “En la tierra de ciegos el tuerto es rey.” which means that in the land of the blind the Cyclops is king. It is a good thing that I know how to use my third eye and seek guidance from the man upstairs. We have made it through the first semester and retirement is looking better and better. I feel sorry for those that are just starting out and don’t have that option. So in January I am flying to Corpus Christi for a wedding and I have been told to behave myself, we shall see, but I don’t think it is me that we have to worry about. Viva la Indepencencia

Well today is the 16th of Sept. The celebration of the Mexican Independence and the 6th anniversary of getting the keys to my new house. Now it still seems new and a nice place to come home to after a long day at school. This school year is really interesting. Only ten original teachers and the 5 aides that were with us throughout. Many are talking already of not staying. Many are hoping things will change after the board finally decides what they will do over the super's violation of board policy and violation of his own contract. Many of us feel nothing will happen as does the super. The board has put the metting off till sat when they were supposed to meet on Thurs. now they will meet again next Thurs but no actions will be taken. We shall see. The new school has a principal and 3 assistants and everytime you ask a question then they do a nice little sidestep. Today I had to go in for a conference after a spot observation on Friday. It wasn't the best but they never are at the beginning of the year. That way they can say how much you have grown. Of course I could defend all I did and she was pleased with my work and complements me for steping up even though I didn't want 5th. yeah, yeah, yeah I've heard that before. Maybe 34 is the end of my teaching career. We shall see. Worked hard this weekend so I came home and did nothing today. Thinking about all the things I am not doing in the yard. We shall see. Thinking of destroying some of the things I built up and not working so hard, especially since the things are not growing. We shall look around and see what we are going to do. Right now it is time for bed. Just going to go rest and wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Today is Mija's birthday and like her Mom Mom I had to sing Las Mañanitas. She wants it recorded on her phone each year. I made her another video and posted it to her facebook page. She is spending her birthday with her intended. They are getting married in Jan and that should be an interresting wedding. But that is another story. Saw yesterday where the ex-boyfriend and his brother are going to be back in Pune to spend some time with the folks. Procrastinating because this is the first year I have felt like retiring from teaching. Not because of the kids but because of the new administration. We shall see.
